Let’s Honour Our Military Ancestors in November – An 11 Day Challenge

I am issuing an 11-day challenge to genealogists to honour their military ancestors. Starting on Nov. 1 honor a Military ancestor by sharing their experiences, accomplishments, or losses, tell their stories with family, friends and fellow genealogists

How? Write a blog post, share a picture on your Facebook page or Instagram. You can choose to detail one ancestor’s experience or different ancestor each day, use an excerpt from a military file, a letter, newspaper clipping, however you choose to take up the challenge.

Why not make our Military ancestors go viral in November! We can share with each other by using the hashtag #mymilitaryancestor and include the flag of the country they fought for.

It’s the least we can do.
