I am a mac user and I have used a few different programs for my genealogy over the years. I do have my tree on ancestry.ca and I truly enjoy being able to search the search features connected with their records.
I have been “re-doing” my tree following along with the process guided by Thomas MacEntee. This will not be a fast process but in doing that I re-evaluated genealogy programs that are available. The decision was between Legacy and My Heritage.
I chose My Heritage and I have been enjoying learning the program. Why did I pick it? To be honest I have enjoyed seeing My Heritage attending conferences and being engaged with their customers. It sold me! I do hope to see more features added as developers continue to make improvements.
